For photographers, creators & entertainers

Charge more.
Know why.

The clearer the deliverable, the stronger the price. ChargeMore turns a messy client email into a defined scope, three defensible prices — and a quote page where everything extra costs extra.

5 questions
The ones a seasoned agent asks before quoting — starting with who is actually paying.
3 tiers
Basic, Standard, Premium — with genuinely different scope, not the same job at three prices.
1 link
A quote page your client accepts in one click. It looks better than a PDF because it is not one.

You don’t lose money on your day rate. You lose it on everything around it.

Free work has a name: unclear scope. Every one of these arrives after the price is agreed — when saying no is hardest.

“Just one more round of tweaks?”

Two unpaid evenings

Revisions without a cap are how a two-day job quietly becomes a two-week job.

“Can we also run it as an ad?”

A licence worth thousands

Usage rights are where creatives leak the most money — and clients almost never bring them up first.

“It ran a bit later than planned.”

Unbilled overtime

Hours past the booking are real hours. Without a stated rate, they are a favour.

How you actually charge more

  1. 01

    Define the deliverable

“150 edited images”, not “photos”. “Three Reels, two revision rounds”, not “some content”. Numbers are what a price can stand on.

  2. 02

    Price the boundary

A ‘Not included’ section with real prices turns scope creep into a menu. The client sees what an extra costs before they ask for it — and asking becomes buying.

  3. 03

    Anchor on the buyer

The engine prices who is paying, not just the hours. A bank's Christmas party and a culture festival are not the same job — and your quote should know it.

A real quote page

This is what your client opens.

No PDF attachment, no email chain where the scope quietly changes. One link, readable on a phone, with the “Not included” section doing the work that an awkward conversation usually has to do.

  • “150 edited images” A counted deliverable. This number is what stops ‘just a few more’.
  • “Not for paid advertising” The licence boundary — the line most quotes never draw, and the one worth the most.
  • “Raw files — 15 000 kr” An add-on with a price is an upsell. Without one, it’s a favour.

If this looks right, accept below and I will hold 12 December. Anything you want moved around, just reply and we will sort it.

The money is in the “oh, and could you also…”

Extra revisions. Raw files. Travel. Overtime. Six more months of usage. Every one of those is a real cost, and every one of them tends to arrive after the price is agreed — when saying no is hardest.

ChargeMore puts them on the quote with a number next to them. Not as a threat — as a menu. Clients respect it, and it turns scope creep into revenue.

What usually goes out

Hi! Great to hear from you 😊

For a full evening I usually charge around 12 000, and you’ll of course get all the photos. Happy to be flexible on the price if the budget is tight!

  • “Around” invites negotiation.
  • “All the photos” gives away the licence.
  • “Flexible” names your price a suggestion.
